A Complex Redevelopment Intervention

An ancient lava stone building whose original plant dates back to 1800 and was later used as an oven when the island became a place of confinement.
After the war the building was abandoned due to emigration.
There are still some testimonies …. a kneading machine, some tools and furnishings, an old sales sign. The external pavement of the beam in lava stone paved made by the confined is one of the last stretches still remaining throughout the island.

A complex building redevelopment project started in 2007 starting from the recovery and seismic improvement of the structure up to the transformation of the warehouses into small residential units.
The visible recovery of the original local lava stone of the walls, gutters and terracotta basins without neglecting the realization of living comfort conditions
